I have a 22 lb Maine Coon Cat. He is an indoor cat. We had McKenzi years before we got the furgirls. They DO NOT like him at all. I gave it time also...Didn't work. The girls are now 4 yrs and 3 yrs. All we have to do is say the cats name...or if he gets up from where ever he is laying..They jump at him! He is not declawed and could do alot of damage to them. He has batted them on the head and even scratched them on the butt (I didn't let him do this is just happened really fast). This only made them go after him even more. They have backed him into a corner...They are not like this all the time. But, it makes me very nervous when it does happen. I can leave them all home alone with free run of the house and they are fine. Maybe it's a jealousy thing? Cat scratches and bites can be very bad....
