You have already gotten some great advise but I wanted to add my concerns for your Teddy -- I know that must be frightening. I would think with an eye and ear infection, it might be even more a chance the blood in urine is a case of infection vice stones. But they can tell a lot from the urine tests. I am surprised they did not tell about infection right away, but they may be sending it all off for a more in depth analysis.

One of my puppies got a little eye infection. The vet gave me Tobramycin, Ophthalmic solution -- worked like a charm. By the second day it was gone but I had to continue the drops for 7-10 days.

I have never seen one express their own glands when scared but tensing up could do it, I guess. And it really does smell bad! I would be reluctant to give medicine for diarrhea after only one time of a loose stool. Mostly because once you give diarrhea meds, it sometimes makes them the other way, constipated.

Best wishes -- hope it is a simple infection that can be cleared right up with some good antibiotics.
