We also have VPI, and I can't complain. According to the plan we have, they have covered the past visits, and a portion of Muñeca's spay surgery. Like one of the others suggested, look at what is covered because there are many options for coverage. They automatically deduct the monthly fee from your account, and they send pre-filled out forms that you can ask the vet to keep in their records so that you have it ready to be mailed/faxed to the insurance company right after the visit.
