I hope she was able to bring him to the vet . My parents had a little pom some yrs ago that was attacked by a raccoon , it nearly chewed off her leg! My parents rushed the pom straight to the ER vet, ANd thatkfully they were able to save Pom's leg, placed her on heavy meds, wrapped her leg up > and informed my father that raccons become even more aggressive during Mating season and when they have Babies around> Therefore You may have a whole family somewhere close by you . If Raccoon feels threatened in any way, she is going to attack . They did not Quaritine my parents Pom. I do remember though, that she was severely hurt .
