It is normal for a pup to sleep a lot, but it isn't so normal for a pup not to play. At that age, you should be able to play with and entertain your pup for an hour straight, then he should be ready for a nap. He should be playing. They actually start playing before they can even walk. I would be a little concerened myself. Next time he gets up, let him go potty, then insist he play a little. He should be steady on his feet and not wobbly. If he is unsteady or too lathargec, definetly take him to the vet. Has he been checked for worms by the vet via stool sample? See if his gums are more of a white or more of a healthy pink. White is not good.
