I am also thinking about the same thing. Snickers is sad when we are not home, I know it, he cries and barks but then is ok. Also, I have summers off so I would have the time to potty train and settle in a new puppy, but I am scared of the extra maintanence (grooming, $$$, vet, etc), dominance (I would want another boy), them fighting or perhaps not getting along. Snickers is so lovable and has never been aggresive about anything, but I'm nervous so then I think no, Snickers is fine with just us, but then I start thinking again about how much he would love a brother!! I already have a name too...Reesee--my 2 chocolate bars!
