A boutique owner I know said the Eagle Pack company has been sold and the new owner is making "drastic" (her words) changes to the recipe. She told everyone to carefully check the ingredients in the new formula.

She no longer considers it a premium food and will not carry it in her store in the future.

So far there has been nothing in the news about it, and nothing can be found on google. But I will keep my eye out for an announcement.
I would be surprised if a new owner made dramatic changes because they know they would loose thier market share
