Oh YES - LP surgery is at least 8 week recovery. No running, no playing, no jumping, etc.

Crate confinement is important for healing. She will be allowed potty breaks and about 5 mins of walking here and there, but then it is back to rest and healing time. As the weeks go by she will be allowed a little more walk time, but this is really a very serious surgery, so it is very important to take the 8 week recovery very serious and strict
