Two things you need to do
First is that the front door is to claimed by you
meaning you have to give them permission to exit
This is important becaus eit can be dangerous when they dart out the door and go running away
Lots of dogs ahve been hit by cars this way

Go to the door
and open just a crack
When they charge to go thru - close it and say UH!
Keep repeating this until you see them wait
Open it a bit more
and keep doing this until they are sitting when you open the door
and YOU go thru first ... all the time

Next the coming when called
This is a little counter intuitive
The more you call them and they don't come...... the more they won't come when you call
So call them once ...if they don't come
have a treat ready or a loud squeaky toy that they will go for
