It will probably be fine ....
but don't forget you are placing a new dog into a home that has had only one
I don't know how old your other dog is and for how long you've had him
but your house has become his territory
and he's had your undivided attention so far
So the first few days you might get a jealous response from him
When you are loving and petting the new puppy always include your other dog
Dogs have a KEEN sense of fairness and always try to show attention to both whenever you can
