I don't know how "normal" it is, but Boo is 6 this year and he got the most beautiful bronze and pewter on his back when we let his hair grow out for the winter. He didn't have it last winter and I just love it. I'm sure he will be back to black when he gets his summer cut, but it was lovely to see this winter.
Gracie Ruth is 16 months old and she is still changing her color. Sure wish she'd hurry up and decide on a look.
I think Yogi finds the whole 'color changing' thing entirely too much work and has decided to simply stay black and tan. Which is perfectly fine by me as I love the way he looks.
I just love how all 3 have their own very unique color to go along with their very unique personalities.
