I think it sounds like it's going well. I would just continue to let them be together as much as possible, watch that one doesn't bully the other, give them time to work it out, but remember you & your roomie are the pack leaders and make sure that they both know that neither of you will tolerate any bad behavior. If there is a dog park close by that you can take them to play loose together that'd would maybe help too. Someplace neutral, that neither one will feel is 'their turf'. Good Luck!
