Being that you have a boy, it will be less expensive than a girl, and there shouldn't be any over night observation time. As for cost, you are going to just have to call around. Most vets are going to want to do bloodwork before surgery as a precaution, which can be costly. I have been told by my vet that it isn't really necessary for young dogs. To fix my male chi I believe it was about $50. You can also call the local shelter as see if there are any clinics in the area. They usually offer low prices to encourage spaying/neutering.
