It sounds like you are going a great job with Chewie. I'm glad he has such a great mom! Keep up the good work!
I don't have anything cosmic to add, but I noticed that you said Chewie is barely drinking water. Just remember that Pedialyte should not take the place of water. You can also add a drop of Karo syrup to his water, which might make him more apt to drink it and also will help ward off low blood sugar. Try to get as much water into him as you can.
