Mine are called Draculapills and they are very strong licorice drops with licorice powder on them. I doubt they are popular anywhere outside Denmark.
I once introduced Danish Licorice to a mexican in Mexico and he had to spit it out because it was too strong for him! He served me mexican chili which was almost uneatable so I figured it was revengetime
