A heat cycle lasts for approximately 21 days or so, day one being the first sign of bleeding.. The vulva swells and the teats are also much more prominent. If she has just stopped bleeding a week ago, then she is likely still "in heat" and probably around her most fertile time to become pregnant. Hopefully you are watching carefully if there are any intact males around her. A female can be spayed while they are in heat, although the surgery may cost a little more because of it. Hopefully by the 26th, her heat cycle will be done with. Ask your vet about it to be certain. |
