I swear, the people behind this program are a bunch of geniouses because it can do so much. I feel like I know how to do quite a bit with the program and I'm sure I barely scratch the surface of what the program can actually do.
Didn't you buy this program off of Ebay? I know nothing about your seller, but, IMO, something is fishy if the program is cheap- granted you're using an outdated version, but the full CS2 Suite is around $1,200, and you'll definitely want ImageReady for things like avatars. PM me if you can't get your version to work and I can copy a version of mine to send you. I used to use 7.0 and that was extremely outdated, so I can imagine that there are a lot of features that you'll be missing on 5.0.
A great way to learn the program is to Google "Photoshop tutorials." I have a few that I've bookmarked that taught me a lot of the simple features of the program. If you want to PM me, I can send you the links to these. By following tutorials, you'll learn how to use the tools and then you'll experiment and learn more. Just out of curiosity- what books did you buy? |
