yeah...see thats what i thought but i remember when we took him to the vet one time the vet tech told us something about if we wanted to have his tail docked they could just do it when we decide to neuter him since he'll already be under.
i thought that was kinda odd b/c with all the dogs i've heard of it cant be done after they're past a certain age.
well either way i wouldnt do it ...lol i think its his favorite toy when has nothing else like you said
