 Lolita got her bath
Lolita got a bath today and did a wonderful job. I put water in the tub and put her in there. She laid down in the water. lol She didn't seem to mind but at all but it wasn't her favorite activity to participate in. I used minksheen shampoo on her. I wrapped her up and combed her topknot hair out and put a grooming band in it. I don't use a dryer though. I use a space heater and comb them dry. I hold the hair so it doesn't pull their skin and gently work on any knots that I missed prior to the bath. I don't use a pin brush since Natasha doesn't like it so I only use a comb. Anyway she was a champ through the whole process. She got a sani trim but doesn't like to have her feet messed with so I couldn't get her paw pads trimmed but I will work on trying to help her get comfortable with the process. BTW... I think her tail was docked very close to her body so she doesn't have much of a nubbin.
After she got dry we went outside for a potty break and to try for some pictures. She felt very good after her bath and was trotting around... I could really tell she felt good. I got a few pictures of her to post here for everyone. It started to sprinkle so for my cameras sake so we ended early. Look at what a beauty she is. |
