If your dog is a silky coat, the Madan pin brush would probably work great, you can use the any of the colors, except the black on red pad. I have both the black on black and the blue brush, the blue has a little more give, and I like that better for those early morning snarls. I think the pink and green have even more "give", but blue works great for Joey. If I had a little girl, I'd get the pink.
