No! that sounds like the PERFECT dog snatching plan! Better to be safe than sorry later. You did the right thing,,, I have done some pretty dumb things, like- let STRANGERS in to use the phone. and later thought WHY did I do that... But, ya dont want them to think, you think they are crazy, but ya just dont know these days..there are some REAL wackos out there.
