I'll tell you I would give anything if I could remember where I got them but it was a good 10 yrs ago when she came to live with me and I can't, for the life of me, remember now.
They do have a vinyl leak proof backing to them. I have to sew them because there are a few layers to them so when you cut them in half, (we use smaller ones cuz Curly is so little) the layers would separate on one half and not hold in the pee.
Mine are a lot like the hospital pads they sell on ebay but I like mine a lot better. I bought some from ebay and they're good, but mine are great lol.
