no, you were not crazy. I did the dumbest thing when I had only had Ceeby for one week. I stopped at a little mom pop grocery to get a soft drink out of an outside machine. I saw this SUV go by, then it turned around. This very nice lady chased me down and asked all about Ceeby. Said she was looking to buy one so I gave her my name and number to call so I could give her my breeders number. The machine took my money and this lady was so nice, without thinking, i asked her if she wanted to hold him while I went inside to get a drink. i thought i couldn't take him in the store. I was lucky, she carried him into the store with me. I have never heard from her to give her my breeders number after I told her what I paid for him. After it was ovwr, I was shaking at how stupid I had been. It could have been a thief. Fortunately for me it wasn't. but I learned my lesson. No one will ever hold my Ceeby again. I MIGHT let them pet him if they ask first but no one is going to hold him. |
