As far as foods go, the brands that you can buy in the food store and walmart etc, are pretty bad. ...just to name a few, but I am sure there are more 
Your best bet is to find a Mom/Pop type pet store, they seem to carry the better brands. You can find *some* at Petco and Petsmart, but even there you have to be selective - be a Label Reader! I also avoid anything that says Made In China (food, treats and toys) |
Thanks so much for the support! I will definately go back to thr drawing board on the food brands. I get his from PetSmart, and I just got a 25lb bag of whatever my sis recommended.
There is a family owned pet supermarket near my house, so I may stop by there and look for some of the brands you just suggested.
