I would not ever get rabies on the same day as any other vaccine - I'm sorry your vet talked you into that.

Any time a dog might have breathing issues, it could very well be an emergency. If he was having a reaction - you might see white gums, marked lethargy, swollen cheeks etc -- and you'd want to give childrens benadryal ASAP. But, really - if there are breathing problems, that warrants a trip to the ER.

Please update us - I so hope this baby is okay.
