I am sorry that you too experienced this - it is just so jolting...with my Toby, he was sick for a year so we knew it was coming. It still was heartbreaking and I grieved terribly...but I was able to mentally prepare for it a bit more. Of course, I didn't have to see Olivia suffer with all the things that poor Toby did either - she left as the royal little princess she was, with dignity and (hopefully) no suffering. So I do find comfort in that. Bless your heart, I hope your healing begins soon.
