You can definitely groom your yorkie to keep its hair short. Mine has a short cut right now and when I first brought her home she was full grown, she was a year and a half old. Her cut was very short. It took about 6 months for it to grow long in the face and shorter on the body, but again we have her cut down really short. I know theres a lady on here by the name of Chantal who is in Toronto and breeds, I have her in my friends list if you wanted to check her site out, she has some cute yorkies!
