Funny things that your dog does to make you laugh: Discipline the kitties. Holly will not get off my bed in the morning until I tell her to get "off".

Things your dog has done that you will never forgot: Gracie's bilateral LP surgery was a hard time for us both but brought us all the closer together. How Holly is a Houdini, can get out of anything!

How did you get your dog: Both from breeders

Is your dog good around other dogs: They love most other dogs, except aggressive ones. Gracie got attacked by a Chi when she was a puppy and I don't think she has gotten over that. She is friendly but cautious.

Good around children: They both love children, but Gracie is especially submissive and sweet around them. Her breeder had small children so that might account for her behavior around small children.

How was the first day like with your dog: Gracie: I was like any first time mom. Feeling totally inadequate with that sweet little face looking at me for guidance. I doted, I stressed about how much she ate, how much she drank, potty training, and held her constantly.

Holly was number two, much easier. I stressed about easing her transition, and helping Gracie to learn to love her. They had separate ex-pens, separate everything for 3-4 months until I caught them sleeping together, then it was share and share alike. Thank goodness because I could not keep Holly contained, still can't.
