Kaiser will be 6 months old on the 20th of this month and I think his coat is a bit off. First is the length. I've been looking at other puppies and it seems as if his is a bit shorter than it should be at his age.

I also think he might have a cotton/woolly coat? At 20/21 weeks old, his eyes were still flashing green/blue in pictures but all of a sudden it changed to orange/red. I can actually see his eyes glowing red at times. All pictures are taken with a camera phone but it shouldn't have any impact on the colors.

So does anybody think his coat will have a chance to change to silky? If not, does anyone have a cotton/woolly coated yorkie with a long coat? How much care is it compared to a silky? I really really want to grow out his coat but I've heard it's much more difficult to manage a cotton/woolly coat.
