Oh, what a sad story! Lots of prayers for that little boy and his family.
My husband is an EMT and the call that affected him most was a SIDS case that he went to. At that time, our youngest son was just a few months older than the baby who died. He didn't run ambulance calls for a while after that.
How very nice of you to take Zach in and give him a home while his family cares for their boy.
