I've had the opposite happen with Gooby and Puppia. The Gooby stretched and the Puppia didn't. The Puppias we have don't use velcro but the usual clip in plastic while the Gooby has a metal clip which jingles. I wouldn't feel comfortable with velcro if the dog is a puller or if I needed to pick him up quickly. Puppia does come in lots of sizes too.
All things considered, we prefer Puppia.
