I give powdered supplements of the three, Glucosomine, Chondroitin and MSN and have seen no weight gain in any of the four fluffs that I give it to but I will say that I have seen a "huge" difference in their activity. Especially two that I know have LP..........they are now running and playing like never before. Actually, the one use to growl when I would bath her back legs or dry them and since she has been on the supplements, she does not even growl and after being on them she actually runs and fetches toys which she has not done since we rescued her. I really believe in this stuff that it does help.
