Nutri-Vet Hip & Joint Wafer
Take a look at the ingredients list, provided by nutri-Vet.
Since ingredients are listed from highest quantity to lowest, then your dog is getting mostly wheat, animal fat, and peanuts!
These are High kcalorie items. Especially the animal fat which is number 3 on the list.
Not Good.
The active ingredient, is labeled as Glucosamine, which essentially means
that it is just one of the many ingredients.

This is not just a supplement, this is snack food in disguise.
Try to go for a supplement that is actually just the Glucocsamine.
It comes in a liquid, that is glucosamine and chondroitin alone,
without animal fat or peanuts for added kcalories. It is something that you would mix into their food at home.
That would be better for your pet especially since you are watching their weight.
Hope this helps.
