It's just that much more fun!
Seriously though, my little guy totally perked up when we visited the two girls that live up the street. He stops at every yard where any dog lives to visit, but when we get to the Yorkie house, he just gets all puffed up, like he knows they're the same as him.
It also helps if you have a picky eater, the second dog will encourage competitive eating.
The vet bills have increased, but before we made the decision to get another dog, I made a mental note of what I would be willing to give up for another Yorkie. It wasn't very hard to do. Plus the vet discounts for multiple pets so that helps.
My 1st Yorkie doesn't play with toys too much, so I'm glad the 2nd dog it getting good use of them. Actually she's a maniac with squeaky toys.
Food isn't too bad, it's not like feeding Mastiffs or Great Danes. |
