Hi ytisrk27,

My Charlie weighed just under 2 lbs at 2 months old. He is 2 years and 2 months old now. He kept growing during his first full year. He now weighs 12 pounds! He is not overweight at all. I always fed him really healthy, organic food and treats. His mother is 6 pounds and his father is 3 pounds!!! Weird! I know that could happen with humans, where the parents are really tall and have small kids or the parents are small and have tall kids.

I think the rule of thumb with Yorkies is usually to double the weight at 3 months of age, but that wasn't true with Charlie.

It sure seems that the pup you are interested in will grow up to be a big Yorkie, or as my father calls my dog, a "Stretch Yorkie". LOL Charlie was about maybe 3 pounds at 10 weeks old. Just think, there's more to love!
