you need to put him on BEFORE the others drain mama not after AND you might need to hold your hand to the side to hold him on so he won't get knocked off. this so often happens when one is smaller than the others. if I have to supplement, I use Esbilac Puppy Supplement. i use a syringe but you have tobe very careful that you don't push it into his lungs or he will get aspiration pneumonia. I use one of those long nose syringes and they can almost suck it out on their own without it being pushed or else i put a nipple over the syringe and just push enough to fill the nipple then let him suck it out.
