I totally understand how surprising that can be. I frequently look at a rescue site and I am amazed when they ask 800 for a dog, or 1000.

I know how that is lots of money. Sometimes rescues have more medical issues down the road. As silly as this sounds, has this dog been to a vet and do you know what you may or may not be getting into.
