Some kids are a breeze other's give you a run for your money.
You seem to be living my daughter's life and via-versa.
I feel for both of you. |
I know, she thinks she's the boss and right now she's taking the role VERY seriously. It doesn't help that members of her family insist on giving her cuddles when I tell her off and she crys... purely because they don't want to listen to her crying.

They'll bring her to my mom and as soon as she gets there she lays down and goes to sleep. That's because when London first started doing the no sleep thing, my mom put blankets over all the windows so it was totally dark and told London it was bed time. She cried and played and cried again but finally she got bored and went to sleep. Now she knows that when Nana says bedtime, she might as well go to sleep. |
I can't do that with Amelia, her routine is messed up. She goes to bed around the same time each night but it's just the wrong time. It's like we're on another timezone. Once she's tired she goes to bed and sleeps 9hrs straight and is ready to take on the world again.

I just need to force myself up in the morning and try to power through the day but I know it's going to take a few days for her to adjust which will leave me physically and mentally drained.
