I'm playing a CD of Mozart's Requiem Mass ... and within moments, Lucy chilled right out ... like magic. She's sleeping here on the floor on my office. (Mind you, I'm on YT, rather than doing my paperwork - but can't have everything!)

Anyone else find that their yorkies chill when music is playing?
Hi there Lesley Carol.....you touched upon a similar post I had up about music and dogs. I'm actually not surprised that Lucy chilled out when you put on some classical music. There are studies done on dog behavior associated with music, and it was found that classical music (the way that is affects the brain waves in human), has similar calming affects in dogs. If you google "music for dogs" you can read some of the research that's out there. I always have a classical CD playing for my dogs when I'm not home...and it keep them calm. They are usually asleep when I get home. I also have found that when I play my guitar or the piano, the dogs fall asleep.
