 Adie had a nightmare!
I think Adie had a nightmare last night. I woke up to what I thought was the dogs wrestling at the foot of the bed. When I sat up I realized that it was just Adie and Skeeter was still sleeping where my knees bend. I said her name and she started acting like she wanted to come to me but her paw was stuck to the sheets. When I touched her she started crawling toward me like she was afraid of falling off the bed. I picked her up and she was shaking like a leaf. I held her for a couple of minutes then laid back down with her cuddled in front of me. She quit shaking pretty fast but then crawled up and tried to sleep on my head! That didn't work at all so she settled for wrapping herself around my head. She was still there later when I got up to potty but she went back to sleeping on my side (her usual spot) when I came back to bed.
My shih tzu dreams and howls in her sleep a lot but I've never seen Adie do anything but run a little and bark in her sleep! |
