I had to buy four different sets of cordless phones before deciding on the ones I have now. I have a hard time hearing half the time and these have a nice volume. Also no buzzing and such... they are G.E. 6.0.. they have the google button on it. Has caller I.D. and an answering machine. If I remember right you can add on additional phones if needed. This one came with one additional cordless. I think I got them at walmart
