Here is the official YorkieTalk Halloween 2005 contest thread. Here are the rules. Please read them.

1. Please post pictures of your Yorkie in their costume (up to 4 pictures) in THIS thread only to enter the contest. Please have pictures of your Yorkie in costume in posted pictures, do not post people's faces or other Yorkies or dogs or cats in the picture. You may enter up to 3 Yorkies in this contest, but you will need to make a separate post for each Yorkie. You may only enter your OWN Yorkies into this contest. While small pictures will work, you may be better off trying to post larger pictures (800 by 600 pixels seems to be a good size), as they will show off the costume better. This contest is for Yorkies and Yorkie mixes only.

2. In your entry, please include the following form and a quick bit of information regarding the costume. For this contest thread, please do not write anything BUT your username, your Yorkie's name and costume information, just in case we can't tell what kind of costume your Yorkie has on. Please keep the costume information short and to the point. Feel free to post another thread in the My Yorkie forum about your Yorkie and their costume if you would like to talk more about it.

3. PLEASE DO NOT REPLY to anything in this thread. Doing so may disqualify you from the contest. This thread is ONLY for entries to the Halloween Contest. Any posts which are not entries to the contest will be deleted.

4. This contest is open to all members of YorkieTalk that have 50 or more posts. If you do not yet have 50 posts under your name, you still have a week to make 50 posts, which is plenty of time. You may post your entry now if you do not yet have 50 posts, but you must have 50 posts by the end of the day on October 25, 2005 to be eligible for the contest. Spamming or posting meaningless messages may disqualify you from the contest. Breaking any rules of the contest may disqualify you from the contest.

5. If you enter a picture to the contest, you will still retain full rights to your photos. YorkieTalk.com will not claim any ownership of your photos nor will we sell your photos in any way. However, some winning photos and other select photos from the contest will be posted in the YorkieTalk Photo Gallery. By entering a picture, you will allow YorkieTalk.com to announce your username and your Yorkie's name and costume info if you are a winner in the contest.

6. If you are named a winner in this contest, you will be privately messaged or e-mailed by YorkieTalk.com to get your name and address so we can mail the prize to you. You must supply us with this information within 10 days or your prize may be forfeited.

7. You must post your entry in this thread by the end of the day on October 25, 2005 (midnight Pacific time). Information on the voting process will be announced on October 26, 2005.
