I feel very sorry for the family in this story. But, If they knew the Coyotes were in their yard and around the area, they should've had their dog on a leash. Home Builders keep on building in the Coyotes territory. What do people think is going to happen?? They were here first. Why shoot them when we're the ones @ fault. There are alot of wild animals out there whose homes are being destroyed, If people know they're around don't let your children and pets outside without supervision. Put up high fences to deter the animals from coming into your yard. If you have Hawks,Eagles and Falcons, then take your dog out on a leash or put up a run that is covered with fencing and the birds will not be able to carry away your pets. Please use your heads people. Wild animals are doing what they have to do to survive and for hundreds of years that's how they did it. If you're going to live in their territory then protect your pets and children. It's not their fault, It's the reckless peoples fault...IMO...
