I have been away from Tobey a few times for about a week each time. The first time was the hardest but I was going on a paid trip to the Bahamas so it's not like I could turn that down

I was most worried that he would think I abandoned him and that he would forget about me. However, I have learned that he is just fine and remembers me when I get home. The past two times I think have actually been good for him because he stayed with my parent's neighbors who have 2 little dogs of their own so he had buddies for the week.
