This is the best detangler on my experience. I've tried two other brands before (perfect coat and petco) and didn't get the same results. It not only detangles it also moisturizes the coat and makes it look healthy. You can noticed the effect of the moisturizer after the coat dries. Plus, I thing the way the cap for the spray its designed helps too. Unlike other detanglers I have used, when you press it, it covers a larger section of the coat at one time.
