I'm so glad I asked about this. Whereas I thought it was kind of silly to bring a dog along to look at puppies, I just felt it best to smile and be polite. It's a recent outbreak of Parvo in this area that made me think I should not be allowing strange dogs into my home. Now I really feel silly to ever have allowed it in the first place. Thanks for the much appreciated input.
