my boyfriend and i just got our first dog (for the both of us) last august. our yorkie will be a year old in may. we had the same thoughts, so you're not alone! the first couple weeks are the hardest in my opinion, especially if you've never had a dog before. but as you and your puppy become adjusted with each other, it becomes much easier. theres nothing sweeter than a yorkie! they're full of fun and energy and overall are a blast.
