Wholeheartedly agree!

When Remy is at his grandparents (they watch him when I am away and he can not go with me) he is watched closely when outside. They are in a northern part of the Baltimore County area (where I grew up) and it is country. We certainly don't have coyotes, but there are racoon, red fox, and all kinds of other animals. It is just basic common sense to be careful. My Dad would never let Remy out on his own or off leash, because things can happen too quickly!

Living in a community with any risk exposure for one's pup (be that other animals, wild or domestic, or city risks such as cars, rats, etc) requires an owner to be proactive and prepared.

I do feel bad, and absolutely sick for that pup, but shame on those owners!
