As heartless as this sounds, in our area the locals encourage each other to shoot coyotes on sight. They carry some diseases that you wouldn't want your pet to have. I've only seen one, and the only hair it had on it's entire body was the tip of it's tail which suggests mange.
Yes, they are wildlife, yes they kill to eat, and yes they will kill something their own size or less and that includes our kids. |
