This stuff is excellent for cottony coated dogs. I use it on Sophie. The only thing I don't like is it is a spray can. Darn near chokes both Sophie and I when I spray it. I actually take her outside, spray her, then bring her back in to proceed with her daily brushing. It's great on tangles too!
Sophie gets those flakes also. I too use Biogroom. If I use the Oatmeal Shampoo and Conditioner, then she doesn't flake. Although I do find the Soft & Silky will make her itch and flake. But I like what it does to her coat.
